I tried Nutrisystem coupons when subscribing for their weight loss program after my second pregnancy in hopes to regain pre pregnancy weight and fitness levels. I had weighted 125 lbs before, and now I weigh a whopping 145. This is 20 pounds of extra weight that I am carrying around that I don’t necessarily need now after the birth of my newborn son Liam Jacob. The reason why I really enjoy the Nutrisystem program and their coupons that I get from this reference is that I don’t have to be a total fanatic about weight loss and because I can just simply integrate the program into my life. Some weight loss programs make you count every calorie and I just think that is too obsessive. After all, I’m a busy mother and I don’t have the time for that. I also like that I don’t have to measure up portion sizes. When it comes to this type of thing, I do really get lazy. I don’t want to be focusing on these types of things, yet, I still want results.

This program is simple. I like the simplicity of it because it suits my life as a busy mother of two. I also like how easy it integrates into my life. Basically once I signed up, their recommended food and diet, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert, just plopped on my doorstep at certain hours. I even didn’t have to go to the grocery store as often which sort of lightened my load in housework! The only thing I really miss is eating out. This program sort of prohibits you or discourages you from eating out often or at all! It basically pre-plans all the meals for you. Believe me, this is actually helping my life, but once in a while, I really do miss eating out. I have to admit, I am a sucker for Burger King. Especially when I am on the go.
Before & after Nutrisystem diet
I hate to admit it, but I really do miss their burgers and fries! I guess it’s no pain no gain though. I am finding that although it’s slow for me to take off the pounds, I feel more energetic. I don’t really feel a difference just yet on about 4 weeks of the program, but I do feel more energy. Maybe it’s because I’m in my own skin and I don’t really see the difference. My husband says he sees it, but maybe I’m too hard on myself. I really want to look like what I looked like in terms of weight and fitness level when I first met my husband. I know this is what every mom of two and post – pregnant woman dreams of, but I guess I truly do have high expectations of myself. Luckily, the pre packaged meals actually don’t taste that bad, and despite missing Burger King, I am really enjoying the food, and the program which is way better than Diet Chef. The breakfasts include oatmeal, muffins, granola, and pancakes. I can’t argue with that! The lunches and dinners are a variety of soups, stews, chicken, pasta, and pizza. For dessert, you even can have brownies, cake, and cookies. Somehow they slip nutrition through nuts, vegetables, meat, and dairy into the meal plan packages. You don’t eve notice that you are eating healthier because it just tastes so good!
If I recall, the program mentions that you are supposed to lose about 2 pounds per week. I think I might have lost about 3-4 pounds, but I don’t really notice it just yet as sometimes when I have liquids, my body is heavier on the scale, so I fluctuate. I think when I write another review in about 3-4 weeks time I’ll really be able to tell you if I’ve taken off my pregnancy weight gain. For now though, I’m enjoying the break from cooking and meal preparation at least for myself. I also am enjoying the increased energy I am feeling. I like the way that this program seamlessly integrates with my busy life and lifestyle. I don’t really have to think about anything extra. Basically I just order my months worth of food in advance.
I also don’t get bored of the meals, because for the whole month, you get 30 different options for meals. If you don’t feel like planning your meals, you just randomize your order and let them choose it for you. I find this just fantastic. I think my husband is thinking of joining in on this program too!
